Zorro's Black Whip -1944 Republic pictures Serial film.

 Black Whip (Linda Sterling)  pretending to be her deceased brother  Don Diego ( the original Zorro) disguises herself as the Black Whip to avenge her brother and save the Idaho Territory.

The film was made after the 1940 20th Century-Fox remake of The Mark of Zorro in order to capitalize on that films success. Zorro's Black Whip is a 1944 Republic Pictures 12 chapter film serial starring Linda Stirling and was released in affordable theaters at a "minimal" price per episode. It was a decent financial success. Republic Pictures was Reluctant to use the character of Zorro himself afraid of legal action so despite using it in the title the hero is called The Black Whip throughout instead of Zorro.

This Republican serial came in 12 parts originally. This version contains all 12 chapters into one 3 hour and 02 minute MP4 video.
