Theater 5 was aired on ABC in 1964-1965. It was a top-quality script, acting, and sound effects radio drama series. It was made to see if Old time radio could be revived or if television had removed its potential. It was an extremely entertaining series with very good quality scripts, stories, and more. It typically was a series of 20 minute or so short stories usually taking interesting events from the news of the world or past events and writing them in a drama story with twists and turns.

The show had a stellar cast and also featured many soon to be famous actors such as James Earl Jones, Alan Arda, Ed Begley and more
