In 1943 through 1945 Dr. Pepper soft drink decided to host a variety radio show called 10-2-4. These were the times that their "Scientifically" backed studies showed you needed a good "pick me up" drink. The show had western themed music and variety show chat and was on 15 minutes at a time.

Say what you want about the "SCIENCE" and What credentials Doctor Pepper had...but the show worked and we still have this popular drink today, thanks in part to this Old time radio show.
